WHO WE ARE

DARI Store was founded by Alexander from Norway. Alexander moved to Amsterdam in 2015 to further a career in the humanitarian sector after many years of living and working in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. His passion for cultures, languages and authentic native products/produce, planted the seed for Dari in 2018.

Dari is a result of Alexander’s enthusiasm for the authentic and the will to encourage local artisans and artists to share their heritage and their story with the world.

Dari does not only offer a selection of handcrafted local products such as handmade hammam towels, unique handwoven rugs etc. but also the unique story of the makers.
