This rug is expertly handwoven and is the creative fruit of our local Berber Artisan, Sabiha. Her knowhow has been passed down from mother to daughter for 12 generations.

Double Weaving comb: refers to the tree of life, its roots and branches, symbolizing life, knowledge and attachment to the land
Fish: Brings luck and abundance. Also protects against evil eye
Zigzag: Union of the opposites male and female, fire and water, night and day etc.
